Olaide Bakare, Rykardo Agbo, Kelvin Ikeduba, Chizzy Alichi and others dazzle fans in fight concert

 

Recall that shortly after the first ever celebrity ring fight between Portable and Charles Okocha in December 2023 over what seemed justifiable and unsimulated, Paul Okoye, a popular show promoter and boyfriend of Iyabo Ojo proposed a winner-takes-all match between his lover Iyabo Ojo and her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin over their unending social media wahala and like an icing on the cake, he promised to gift the winner 10 million naira.

Although none of the two actors said anything about the proposal and nothing has been heard so far. However, just like we predicted, a former Nigerian kickboxer and MMA star lovethpatra Ekufu has seized the opportunity to promote (kickboxing) and show the connection between sports and entertainment through a fight concert where Nollywood actors were paired in one-on-one face-offs on the 24th of February 2024 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. 

Diamond Sports Promotion did great putting this together and using Oloaide Bakare and Chizzy Alichi who merely acted althrough as headliners during their match. That notwithstanding, Rykardo Agbor and Kelvin Ikeduba added spice to the performance with one or two real punches.

Now that we are here, we expect the next celeb fight to be at least 70 percent real like Portable vs Charles Okocha's because some of us kind of love real violence.

Ps: There was no real conflict between Olaide Bakare and Chizzy Alichi  hence, the fight was staged. Funny how many think it was real. Some fans sha!
