The process of clothe making usually begins with a desire to create. Thereafter, it's shopping for the right fabrics

and then sewing.

But today's fashion is creativity without borders. Everywhere in the world, like writers, fashion designers are breaking new grounds with unconventional designs that sometimes tell stories while they explore with fabrics of different nature.

The sweet thing about Nigeria's cultural influence on global fashion trends is how much our local fabrics from Ukara to Akwete, Isi-Agu, Brocade, Aso-Olona, Ankara, Aso oke, Chiffon, Lace, Silk, Atiku, Adire, George, etc. have transited from only being worn at traditional events to becoming mainstream fashion staples. They are now in streetwares, office attires like the man and woman picture above, everyday wears and red carpet outfits. Omo, people are repping our culture with pride! 

So since our focus is on street sytle today, ama dishing la'hot offbeat and street sytles you may want to try with funny captions. Oya leggo!
