Pastor E.A Adeboye threatened a woman with the police for harassment

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, during a special programme, Victory Hour, on Wednesday the 19th, relived a moment in his Christian journey. He said a married woman who was a senior official at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) had walked into his office to inform him that he (Adeboye) was going to be her husband. He said she claimed that God spoke to her. 

At first, he said he tried to dissuade her by reporting the matter to the Nigerian Police but nothing happened because she was hell-bent. To rub salt to injury, she threatened to kill his wife. 

However, when he travelled to London to prepare the Sunday School manual of his church without telling anyone, he was shocked when the woman called to say she would pay him a visit but he warned her sternly that there would be consequences if she did. He threatened to report her to London police before she backed off. He ended by saying he prayed a single prayer and they brought her back to Nigeria in a body bag.
