The KAS of then and now
Do you remember "Fimile baby fimile, mi o se mo baby fimile" by KAS? The song was released way back in 2009 and between that time and 2013, KAS flew on wings. But shortly after few more songs, KAS left the industry and many of the people whose hearts he had won wondered where he had been.
Year in year out, they waited hoping. While his love died in the hearts of some, others found replacement for him and even speculated that his career was over because music wasn't paying his bills anymore and he had become frustrated like Azadus.
First of all, KAS made good money from music and invested wisely too. Apart from the fact that he's from a rich home, he has business and houses of his own in Surulere and Lekki. The truth about his disappearance is that he left the music industry to go far away to England to find himself spiritually and he did. Today, he is a pastor or an evangelist who takes pleasure in preaching the good news of Christ through crusades all over the world but predominantly in Nigeria.
KAS Shobayo pastors a church in England too called Praise God Ministry and is currently building an ark-like prayer centre called The ARK somewhere in Nigeria. Kas still does music. Although his lyrics aren't wordly, his beats are still funky because of the producer he is and his passion for good sound. His latest single is YAHWEH--- a thanksgiving offering to God.
