The Potter
And there in a large house
He had made them
Vessels with virtues of measures
on array
He took me then I saw some
For now, later and all time
Howbeit His timing
He asserts posture not of self
but of will.
Tongs in hand, He cooed
Quenching thirsts of curiosity
Of me-- of a people
Trapped in simulations
'I love them invaluably
but I bear with them'.
Just then, a tap or two
Resuscitated yawns of
rejuvenation
Bleary-eyed, I rolled
Lo, I had been with the potter.
